DOES MY DOG NEED A HOUSE?
Dogs are pack animals, but they need a place for themselves. You will notice your dog going to her crate when she is most at ease, and when she wants to be alone. This is the one place in the house that is for just her, where she can be herself and feel most secure. Your dog's crate is fundamental for her and an excellent training tool for you.

"Enclosed spaces create a shelter for your dog to rest and relax. In fact, dogs instinctively seek small spaces to create protective shelters for themselves. Crates are useful training tools for puppies, safe havens for senior dogs and lifesavers for emergencies." (American Kennel Club)
ABOUT GWDH
OUR STORY
The concept for Greenwoof Doghouse was born by serendipity. A friend gave me a few extra houseplants and an unassuming wooden crate while I helped them move. Back at home I placed the crate with houseplants still inside on top of my dog's plastic crate for the time being. Soon apparent was the complimentary relationship between these once thought disparate items. The dog crate was disguised and beautified by the houseplants above and the wooden crate served double duty as home for houseplants and storage space for dog toys and other miscellaneous items. I appreciated this assembly of dog, crates and houseplants and dreamed of creating an integrated design that would be as beautiful as the concept. After many months, sketches, day dreams, hours of research, late nights at the drafting board, and finally, "whew!" fabrication Greenwoof Doghouse was born
FAQ
HOW MUCH DOES GWDH WEIGH?
Greenwoof Doghouse is designed to be a stationary piece of furniture. The product weight depends on the size you choose. Size Small can be easily moved by one person. Larger sizes are more easily moved by two sets of hands. It is best to assemble your GWDH near to where you want it to stay.
HOW STRONG IS GWDH
Greenwoof Doghouse is made with 1/2" wood paneling, a durable material. The back is a solid panel and the slatted sides are 1-3/4" deep, so the front is the most likely place for a successful escape attempt. If you have an especially strong and willful animal, you can specify the stronger door design and a second door latch. Never lock your dog in GWDH for extended periods of time. Your dog should be well acquainted and electively using GWDH as their den before being closed in.
HOW EASY IS GWDH TO ASSEMBLE
Assembly of Greenwoof Doghouse is intuitive and fun. Your GWDH will come partially assembled and with an instruction manual to help you complete it. Typical assembly time is 30 minutes.
